Packed Gear Bag Pro with compression straps. The straps can also be used to lash gear to the outside. Here it is strapped on to give it scale. The compression straps are not in use here and are tucked into clever little storage pockets in the back panel.

Outside back panel can zip out completely to reveal the entire main compartment. There is room for more kites than that! The outside back panel has a compartement big enough for handles and other accessories. That's where I keep my first aid kits (one for me, one for the kites). All zippers are quality YKK brand.

Bottom compartment is perfect for harness and pads. It is made of heavy nylon and has a stainless steel grommet in the bottom for drainage and venting. The main compartment can also be accessed from the top via nylon throat with drawstring. In this photo, the top lid is folded back out of sight.

Inside the top cover there is a hidden zipper compartment for valuables. I had a hard time finding it and I knew where to look. Inside the padded hip belts are zipper compartments perfect keys, phones, wind meters, etc.

Here you can see the richly padded shoulder straps and hip belt, along with the padded and mesh vented back panel. Between the tops of the shoulder straps is a padded suitcase-style grab-handle for hefting the bag around between treks. There is one on the side as well The compression straps allow you to lash things like land boards and control bars to the outside. I will often strap my Synergy or Phantom rolled up with sticks in it in the expanded kite bag for a trip to the beach.
